A hero makes the world a better place. Even young people can be heroes.
Meet Isabel, Xiomara, Valentina and Danitza. Who are they? They belong to a group called “Project Merry Christmas”. They’re the girls who started the group. They’re 12 years old, and they’re heroes.
They collected and recycled newspapers and cardboard, and raised enough money for sweets and simple toys for the children in Lo Miranda. Many children in Lo Miranda don’t have sufficient resources or opportunities. The group “Project Merry Christmas” visited a kindergarten in Lo Miranda to play many fun games with the children and to give them sweets and small toys for Christmas.
The children in Lo Miranda enjoyed very much these small Christmas gifts, fun games, and sharing special moments with those visitors.
The girls want to help children in Lo Miranda in every Christmas season. They welcome any volunteers who like to help children together.
